In every cohort, you’ll find:

Upcoming Cohort Training Courses:
Embracing Our Call; A Spiritual Framework for Church Leadership
Monday Nights 5:00 pm PDT / 8:00 pm EDT
September 8, 2025 – October 27, 2025

This training cohort equips church governing body members to lead with confidence, clarity, and spiritual grounding. Drawing from the book Embracing Our Call, the course invites leaders into a deeper understanding of their sacred role, helping them align their Calling, Energy, and Resources with God’s purpose for their congregation.
Participants will explore the spiritual foundations of governance, develop discernment practices, and examine practical tools to sustain effective and Spirit-led leadership. Sessions include presentation, dialogue, storytelling, and reflection. Designed for both new and experienced leaders, this course helps boards become centers of clarity, not just caretakers of process.
Each session is dialogical in nature. Some begin with brief teaching or PowerPoint presentation; others are centered around guided conversation and shared reflection.
The Ministry of Money; A Treasurer's Role in the Mission of the Church
Tuesday Nights 5:00 pm PDT / 8:00 pm EDT
September 9, 2025 – October 28, 2025

This cohort-based training program is designed to equip church treasurers, finance committee members, and pastors with the knowledge, tools, and spiritual grounding necessary to steward the church’s finances faithfully. Participants will learn how to read and interpret financial reports, align budgeting practices with mission and vision, establish and evaluate financial controls, and communicate financial realities clearly and effectively.
Each session is dialogical in nature. Some will begin with a PowerPoint presentation followed by group discussion. Others will be group discussions facilitated by the course leader. The training draws from the book The Ministry of Money by Keith Clark-Hoyos and integrates spiritual reflection with practical guidance.
