Leaders will deepen their understanding of governance as a spiritual practice—cultivating discernment, transparency, and Spirit-led wisdom. Through shared dialogue, storytelling, and reflection, participants discover how to transform board meetings into spaces of listening and clarity.
Each session blends brief teaching and guided conversation within the Effective Church Leadership Community, connecting participants with peers from across the country who share the call to lead faithfully and well.
Designed for both new and experienced leaders, this course helps boards become centers of discernment, not just caretakers of process.
The Ministry of Money; A Treasurer's Role in the Mission of the Church
Tuesday Nights 4:00 pm PDT / 7:00 pm EDT
January 27, 2026 – March 24, 2026
This cohort-based training equips church treasurers, finance committee members, and pastors to steward the church’s financial life as a ministry of witness and trust. Drawing from The Ministry of Money by Keith Clark-Hoyos, participants learn to interpret financial reports, align budgeting with mission, and communicate with transparency and care.
Each session explores the spiritual dimension of financial leadership—seeing money not as management but as testimony to faithfulness. Participants will practice reading financial stories through the lens of mission, establish systems that build confidence, and nurture clarity among leaders and congregations alike.
Sessions include a rhythm of centering, teaching, and Spirit-led dialogue within the Effective Church Leadership Community, creating space for shared learning and encouragement among peers nationwide.
Designed for those who hold the trust of the church’s resources, this course reframes fiduciary work as a calling to clarity, integrity, and grace.
